My attention was drawn to the story narrated by him. Inspite of the story being simple, it reflected moral lesson to be captured.The story was about a king and his minister in the court. He used to tell his master very often that there was a purpose behind everything that takes place. Once when king's finger was severed while doing some work, the same thought was again voiced by the minister. Then the enraged king ordered him to be imprisioned, as minister's opinion did seem like an insult to him. Later the king ventured for hunting alone, Mid-way he was abducted by robbers for his sacrifice to their deity. When the king was about to be sacrificed, they noticed the deformity in the hand and he was let off as any one to be sacrificed should be free from any kind of physical handicap. This made king realise the truth existing in the minister's statement " everything that happens, happens for the good". Upon his return, king tendered his apology to the minister and released him from the prison. Later, the minister said, "Because I was imprisioned and did not accompany you, I too was saved.".This story reinforced the belief I had about the moral that "whatever happens, happens for the good".
